Wall Preparation & Installation Guide

Proper wall preparation ensures the best results and long-term durability.


Surface Preparation

• Clean Surface: Ensure the wall is free of dust, grease, and moisture. Use a dry cloth or isopropyl alcohol cleaner if necessary.

• Smooth Surface: Highly textured walls may affect adhesion. Sanding or priming may be required.

• Cured Paint: Newly painted walls should cure for 2–3 weeks before applying vinyl.

• Avoid Moisture: Do not apply vinyl to damp walls or areas with condensation or leaks.

Installation Methods


Dry Installation (Recommended)

Best for smooth surfaces and removable vinyl.

  1. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive.

  2. Position the vinyl on the wall.

  3. Use a rubber squeegee or spatula to press from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles.


Heat Installation

Recommended for textured surfaces or specialty vinyl.

  1. Apply gentle heat using a heat gun.

  2. Use a sponge and rubber spatula to mold the vinyl to the wall texture.


Installation Tips

• Avoid installation in extremely cold or humid environments

• Use proper tools such as squeegees, sponges, and precision cutters

• For large installations, professional installation is recommended

Can I clean the wall decal?

Yes. Since the decal is made from durable vinyl, you can gently wipe the surface clean using a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the ink.

Is the decal easy to install myself? Will I get bubbles?

Yes. The material is flexible, which makes installation uncomplicated. For large decals, we recommend having two people, but the vinyl is formulated to help you smooth out and easily remove any trapped air or bubbles during application for a professional finish.

Will this vinyl work on textured walls?

This vinyl works best on smooth, flat surfaces with an eggshell or semi-gloss paint finish. We do not recommend applying it to heavily textured walls (like brick, stucco, or highly porous surfaces) as the decal will not be able to adhere fully and may peel off easily.

Is this vinyl safe for my wall paint?

Yes, absolutely. Our decals use a special low-tack, damage-free adhesive designed specifically for painted walls and smooth surfaces. When removed properly, the vinyl will peel off cleanly without damaging your paint or leaving behind any sticky residue.

How many times can I reposition the decal?

You have maximum creative freedom! You can typically remove and reapply the decal multiple times without losing its stickiness, provided the adhesive side stays clean (free of dust, dirt, or lint). This makes it easy to adjust the placement until it looks perfect.
